Contemporary living in dialogue with light, structure and nature

This project concerns a two-level single-family residence located in Rio, Patras. Designed with a strong emphasis on clarity, balance and integration with the surrounding outdoor space, the house unfolds through a composition of clean horizontal volumes and sharp geometries.

The architectural language is defined by cantilevered forms, linear elements and a warm material palette that combines plaster in earthy tones, wood, and metal. The open-plan layout on the ground floor includes three bedrooms and the main living spaces, all connected directly to the garden through large glass openings that blur the boundaries between inside and out.

A semi-private upper level (mezzanine) accommodates two additional bedrooms and a home office, forming a more introverted zone within the overall spatial hierarchy. Outdoor features such as a shaded dining area and landscaped borders enhance the relationship between architecture and the natural environment, offering both privacy and openness.
