This residence was built on a steep and challenging plot, but instead of seeing the slope as a problem, we used it as an opportunity to create a home that fully embraces the landscape. The result is a two-storey house that follows the natural ground and opens up to breathtaking views of the Gulf of Patras.
On the ground floor, an open-plan layout combines the kitchen, dining, and living areas in one unified space. The entire interior is oriented toward the sea, with large openings that bring in natural light and offer direct access to the terrace. The floor is finished with high-quality ceramic tiles, adding both durability and a clean, modern feel.
The material palette plays a key role in the identity of the house. Exposed concrete is used on the ceiling and selected walls, giving the interior a contemporary, minimal character with a sense of honesty and strength. This is balanced by warmer elements, such as wooden details and natural light, to maintain a cozy and livable atmosphere.
Upstairs, the bedrooms offer privacy and comfort, with views to the surrounding landscape and soft finishes that create a calm and restful mood.
Outdoor living is an essential part of the design. A private pool stretches along the terrace, with a visual continuity toward the horizon. Next to it, a built-in barbecue and outdoor dining space make the area perfect for summer gatherings with family and friends.
Simple lines, robust materials, and a strong connection to the environment define this residence, turning a demanding site into a welcoming and beautiful home.
